Much too much abridged

I love family sagas that run over several volumes. Having bought Emma's Secret, I was looking for the first volumes of the Emma Harte series. Unfortunately only the extremely abridged versions were to be found on audible. It is a real shame that the long versions don't exist!
This abridged version just turned into a list of names so that everyone has been mentioned at least once before he/she becomes important for the plot. And the cost of the full amount for such a short story is much too high.
