”This extraordinary debut combines a true gift for storytelling with a liberal dose of racy encounters. But what really sets it apart is exquisite characterization, so vivid that the cast seeps into the reader’s psyche.” ( Daily Record)

A Story one can relate to
The story is written in the distinct style of the other books of the same author, so listening to it is a bit like coming home. Despite several decisions of the main character, which can only be described as irrational and obviously wrong, the conclusion is nice, but not perfect.
But ins't love in the end all about irrationality? That has to be found out by everyone on his or her own. Not the strongest part of the series, but still very good.
About the Narrator: The scottish accent is hard to understand sometimes, especially for non native Speakers listening to the book while driving, but it fits the story, the setting and the characters perfectly.
