Having sold their large city house, Gordon and Jan set up home in a wild, lonely Cornish valley with dreams of creating a special type of holiday retreat. With no house yet built, and still living in their caravan, the family now find themselves on the point of failure. Life beside the small stream is primitive and danger lies ahead, but there is always laughter, a little mischief and a sprinkling of romance. There are problems to surmount, and improvisation is often called for, but they are determined to succeed. Unafraid of risk, the family continues on their adventure with no certainty of success - but every certainty of excitement.

Unfortunately not recommendable

A long, never-ending story, describing almost every day of a hard working family trying to make ends meet with their project of running a camping site. What begins quite nicely, becomes a boring description of every single detail of the family's life, and after long 15 hours, the story leaves the listener with an open end... Honestly, there are much better and funnier audio books available than this disappointing one.
