One dead girl, one scared witness, and two men trained as Navy SEALs. Whether searching for justice or revenge, the final showdown between them is the same - explosive!
Dale MacIntyre, former Navy SEAL, works for Sanctuary. He's the acting handler for a member of the Bullen family's inner circle. He is close to obtaining the evidence he needs to prove Elisabeth Costains death was ordered by them - until someone gets in his way.
Joseph Kinnon, active Navy SEAL, is back on US soil for the first time in months, and he is told the tragic news that his stepsister is dead, gunned down in an alley by an unknown assailant. He is determined to find out who murdered her - until someone gets in his way. They both want the same thing but have different methods of accomplishing their goals.
They both want the Bullen family brought to account, but one wants justice and the other wants revenge. What happens between them, however, has nothing to do with either.

Review on „The Only Easy Day (Sanctuary Book 2)
RJ Scott's „Sanctuary Books“ have been on my Kindle for years and are on regular re-reading every time I feel I need a good, smooth series to whisk me away with great guys, action and a sound criminal story. Now I love listening to the Audio Book Version as much and often!
NavySEAL Joseph returns home after another mission only to find out his step-sister had been murdered. Joseph is determined to get some answers and starts investigating on his own. This leads him inescapably to the Sanctuary team of Nik,Morgan and Dale doing the same, collecting more intel about the Bullen family. A just returned young Bullen son offers way more than mere assumptions, but needs to be rescued soon after contacting the team. Dale & Joseph set out for this extraction mission., while sparks of attraction flying between them.
Sean Crisden has done another marvellous job narrating this story. Although Joseph and Dale, the ex-SEAL, are so much alike they are easily distinguished for us listeners. Both hot men clash together right from their first encounter. Joseph being the level-headed, confident and laconic soldier while Dale is gruff, stubborn and clearly fighting with his temper and attaction to the younger man. Dale reluctantly accepts that he and Joseph are perfect for each other and their soft but hot moments were so vividly narrrated that I am left with a happy smile every time I listen to those chapters again. Well done Mr. Crisden!
The end leaves us readers/listeners with only some questions answered and many more still in the dark, making us rush to the next book/audio book of this series right away.
