A talented sailor, Ally is about to compete in one of the world's most challenging yacht races when she hears the news of her adoptive father's sudden death.
In the aftermath of the harrowing events that follow, Ally pursues the clues her father left her to the icy beauty of Norway. There, she begins to discover how her story is inextricably bound to that of a young unknown singer, Anna Landvik, who lived there over 100 years before.
"What an absolutely fantastic storyteller - I was immediately immersed in the story, and absolutely compelled." (Katherine Webb on The Seven Sisters)

Good story - bad performance
Narrator is realy bad
At first I have to say that I realy love the book. The story is so lovley and interesting.
But the narrator with it's poor french acent makes it so hard to listen. I don't know what woth this should give to the book. On several occaisions I was just an inch away from tunring the book back in and start anew in German...
Please don't use acents in other langauges. This is anoying and bad to understand
