What you need to know about grammar and writing as taught widely in colleges, high schools, and grammar schools wherever American English is spoken! William Strunk, Professor at Cornell, wrote his famous Little Book on good grammar and writing to simplify the subject for students far and wide. His famous motto was, "Omit needless words." This unabridged version follows this motto and can be listened to in just 60 minutes!
Minor edits have been made to conform to modern usage such as using gender neutral words as opposed to just "he" or "him," adapting to modern spelling usage, and similar small things which might be a distraction for a modern listener.
Sharpen your writing, clarify your thoughts, improve your grades, and get promoted with the help of The Elements of Style.

great short book, not so much as an audiobook though

This book is obviously a true classic. It is short and precise and in fact has lots of style. The problem I have with it is, that by listening to it, it loses a lot of its clarity, and that is because by listening to it, I found myself often to have to guess the structure. Is the narrator explaining a rule or reading an example? you have to guess many times.
