Ayn Rand (1905-1982) was a Russian-American novelist, philosopher, and screenwriter. She is best known for her two influential novels, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, and for developing a philosophical system she called objectivism. This was the first time I heard Ayn Rand speak.

I was surprised by her accent and the quality of the recording was not that great, but nevertheless for me it was a transcendental experience to put a human voice to an iconic figure who has influenced literature and business to such a great extent and been one of my idols since teenagerhood.
This Audible book is just amazing for anybody who admires this great authoress and unique thinker. Her voice made me think of Albert Einstein, who also had a very thick accent, but still imparted brilliance with every word uttered.
