Beautifully read, however poor story
Very good narrator, but confusingly abridged story.
Hard to follow, book with an abrupt ending. Therefore rather underwhelming.
I would like to listen to Rosamund Pike reading other books.

things I‘d have liked to know before buying this
This is an abridged version of the book! Having actually read the original I have to say it takes away from the experience. Some character introductions are missing and important turning points are cut out, wich makes for sudden unexplained appearances, decisions and conversations coming totally out of the left field. All in all it’s taking away from the listening experience.
About the voice actor: She has a nice voice to listen to and her accents to distinguish different nationalities are well done and consistent. Sadly it seems like there is only one general male/female voice she can do in an accent. (a few exceptions none with standing) This makes differentiating the speakers in longer discussions difficult, but with a few exceptions still manageable since the text itself allows for identification.
