Motivating like usual - but.....

This book contains a strong message as usual with Ziglar. He also does a good job with delivering this and as usual stories from the christian background help him to make his points - and there is nothing wrong with that.
However, especially the third part of the book feels more like an aggressive misionar's story to me: he states clearly that a "better than good life" is not possible when you are not with god - that means: non christian. He also states that no other religion provides the promise of saving after dead and that this puts the Christian religion apart from (or rather: above of) all others. He also spends roughly 30 minutes of explaining why he does not believe in evolution and why the 'science' of creationism must be right. He uses Behe's Mousetrap argument against evolution which has never had any persuasive power on me.

I have listened to other books of Mr Ziglar in the past, and I always felt his earthly advices were good and valid for anybody with a proper ethic - no matter what the believes are. But I feel this one goes overboard with a near fundamentalism (or dogmatic as he calls it in the acknowledgements) approach to religion. I conclude for myself, that Mr. Ziglar becomes too fundamentalistic as he approaches a higher age and I will no longer recommend his newer books - I instead suggest to stick with the older ones, they are very good.
