Inhaltsangabe

Sherlock Holmes is an unparalleled genius. Warlock Holmes is an idiot. A font of arcane power, certainly. But he's brilliantly dim. Frankly, he couldn't deduce his way out of a paper bag. The only thing he has really got going for him are the might of 1,000 demons and his stalwart companion.

Thankfully, Dr. Watson is always there to aid him through the treacherous shoals of Victorian propriety and save him from a gruesome death every now and again.

Kritikerstimmen

"A must for all those who like their Holmes on the wilder side." (George Mann, author of Sherlock Holmes: The Spirit Box)
"I laughed like a loon." (James Lovegrove, New York Times best-selling author of The Age of Odin)
"With more twists than a Victorian corset, this is Sherlock for the mash-up generation. Tongue-in-cheek, knowing tales, with dollops of Penny Dreadful and a side salad of Atlantis." (William Sutton, author of Lawless and the Devil of Euston Square)

Warlock Holmes is a brilliant rei-magination

Imagine Holmes gets his insight way way of demonic powers. Imagine Watson struggling in a feeble attempt to use logic to explain all that's going on. All written in a style that it reads like a story by Sir Arthur.
It's quite enjoyable.

Not only for Conan Doyle's fans !

Not only for Conan Doyle's fans !! but they will love this book all the more !

The alternative stories are close to the original ones (great treat for the connoisseurs !) but taking place in a parallel universe where the hero is a (much more interesting) Watson and the side-kick is a (lovable and magical) Holmes.
Adventure, wit, humor, friendship, great writing by GS Denning and a FANTASTIC JOB BY ROBERT GARSON. I had a great time with this book, thank you !
